In the 'Gig Economy' of the 21st Century, training is becoming a career-long necessity.  Even just remaining in a static position in an organization invariably requires regular 're-training' as new systems are implemented, along with new policies and procedures etc.  I believe life-long learning is a necessary commitment of almost any employee in any organization.  This can present a significant challenge to your organization.  Many employees are reluctant to, or even 'hate', training, often feeling that whatever formal education they likely paid dearly for should suffice for the rest of their working life.  I can help you change the culture of your organization and morph it into one which recognizes the institutional value of training while also emphasizing the goal of making employees more productive, with less effort.


communications

This is, of course, a rather broad term which is not necessarily associated with the Human Resource profession.  It touches upon a wide variety of communications, ranging from something as simple as a weekly meeting agenda to gorilla marketing.  Many organizations have no dedicated communications personnel, while others may have a wide variety of communications experts working in disparate and unconnected departments, or a single Communications Czar.  Regardless of however your organizations does (or does not), address Communications, my experience can help enhance this essential function.  As physicians like to say: 'prevention is better than a cure'; and this maxim certainly applies to Communications.  If your organization can prevent issues through well considered communications, it would be foolish to fail to dedicate some time and effort to help ensure that your ability to communicate effectively is an asset, and not a liability.
